Regina has more than 30 years of magazine
editing and writing experience in the design and hospitality industries. She was the
Editor of the Designer magazine and the Founding Editor and Associate Publisher of
Hospitality Design magazine published by Bill Communications.
Regina received her Master's degree in Publishing from
New York University in 1995. She has been a contributing editor to such publications as
Lodging, Lodging Hospitality, Restaurant Hospitality, Metropolis and e-zines such as
BizTravel.com. Current she is an executive editor of Financial and

Joe received his bachelor's degree in Economics from Columbia
University, and then worked in the hospitality industry in New York City. He continued
his education in Hotel Administration at Cornell University. He began teaching at Cornell
in 1974 and was granted his Doctorate in 1980. He went on to found the Hotel
Administration program at New York University.
Joe has been a consultant to numerous corporate and government
organizations. He joined the faculty of the Whittemore School at the University of New
Hampshire in 1986. His research interests center on the use of computers to improve
management effectiveness and guest service.
Joe was the equipment editor for
RESTAURANT BUSINESS and INSTITUTIONAL DISTRIBUTION magazines for 17 years. Joe teaches courses that
cover: hospitality design, computers in the hospitality industry, beverage management,
and
meetings and conventions management.
